The Image Initiative is an absolutely amazing nonprofit organization based in Syracuse, NY that works incredibly hard to empower and support girls of color. They believe that young women of color represent the future of their communities (and our nation), but are often ill-equipped to deal with the challenges they face during their middle and high school years. Through an annual conference and various programs in partnership with Syracuse City Schools and Syracuse University, they carry out their mission with love and generosity. They came to me with a grossly outdated site that no longer reflected the breadth of their mission, and we worked together to create the main organizational website, as well as product designs and a Shopify-based merchandise site.
